Rob's Horticulture has been in business for over 15 years providing quality horticultural maintenance services to our residential clients through our knowledge, experience and passion for what we do.
We are currently looking for gardeners (no formal qualifications) and Horticulturists to join our team in serving the Wollondilly, Camden & Campbelltown regions of South West Sydney.
What we have learnt over the years is that unless you are passionate about gardening, this is not the job for you. It is very different to “home gardening” where time is not an issue and if it’s hot, you can leave the work for another day. Our clients expect an exceptional and efficient service and we’re committed to maintaining that high standard.

You will require a reliable car with tow bar fitted (as you will be given a work trailer) to get you to your jobs each day.
The start time of your first job is 8:30am with a working day usually between 5 and 7 hours of gardening time.
You will be provided with the appropriate uniform, tools and safety gear, however you will be required to provide your own secateurs, long handled loppers, shears, small trowel and internet accessible phone (An allowance is paid weekly for this).

What positions are available?
Admin & management roles:
From time to time admin and management roles do become available. These roles deal in scheduling clients, taking phone calls, answering emails, adding new clients to the system, sending info to accounts etc
Operations managers are responsible for providing clients with quotes in their area, managing team leaders, and consulting with clients in regards to all service related matters.
Team leaders have completed all required on job training and now operate a company owned service trailer/vehicle. Team leaders are responsible for the safe operation of the trailer/vehicle along with completing all services assigned to them each day. Team leaders also train new team members and can manage multiple staff based on the size of their operation.
Team members are the newest recruits and where everybody begins. As a team member you will be trained by your team leader. You will also assist in the completion of services on a daily basis.
For team members who wish to advance from this role, career progression can see team members become team leaders or even gain employment in a management role.
